Films: Night of the Living Dead (1990)
Alias: None
Type: Unknown
Location: Haunted home
Height/Weight: That of average humans.
Affiliation: Neutral
Summary: When you advertise your film as "the remake", that's just an invitation to being compared endlessly to a classic. And you can look as shiny as you like, but that won't change the fact that you're a carbon copy...mostly anyways.
History: By this point, you know what happens. There's a home, some survivors, and a horde of zombies coming to break down their defenses. And yes, the humans are just as dysfunctional, if not more so.
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: In a nice twist, Barbara actually survives the ordeal, but poor Ben actually ends up zombified, forcing her to kill him, as well as the man responsible for leaving him for dead. Another one for the fire.
Powers/Abilities: An infectious bite that zombifies people.
Weakness: Aim for the head.
Scariness Factor: 4-You can't say that the zombies don't look freakier than their 60s counterparts, that's for certain. There's little to be said that already hasn't back then, really.
Trivia: -Romero helped remake his own movie due to the fact that he barely turned a profit with the original due to copyright issues, and the fact that he didn't want anyone else to do it first.
-Gore was kept to a minimum as with the original. To help with this, the effects team studied autopsies and even footage of Nazi death camps to keep it all realistic.
